Boardera serves two manufacturing audiences with one platform: PCB fabricators
(bare-board manufacturing) and PCB assembly / EMS companies. Customers upload a
manufacturing package (design files such as Gerber or ODB++, a bill of
materials, and drawings); the platform analyzes it with AI, generates a DFM
(design for manufacturability) report, applies the manufacturer's own pricing
rules, and produces a quote — typically cutting quote response time by ~75% and
quoting cost by ~50%. The platform doubles as a brandable e-commerce storefront
where a manufacturer's customers can self-serve quotes and orders, with an
integrated project communication center.

Boardera also offers DECODE, a standalone API (hosted at https://www.boardera.io)
that accepts a PCB manufacturing package and returns structured board
specifications, DFM results, BOM data, and pricing as JSON — for integrating
PCB intelligence into other systems (ERP, CRM, procurement).

Boardera is a Siemens Solution Partner and holds ISO/IEC certification. The
founding team has hands-on experience running a PCB assembly facility.
